Customea, a creative blend of "Custom" and "IKEA," was founded in 2020 by Mathieu, a seasoned cabinet maker and licensed renovator with over ten years of experience, alongside his partner Suzanna, who brings a strong background in corporate management, hospitality, and a passion for design.
Mathieu is highly regarded for his expertise in assembling and customizing flatpack cabinetry, having operated his IKEA kitchen installations through Flatpack Installer for the past decade. His work has been featured on notable television programs such as "Aussie Property Flippers" on Channel 7, "The Today Show" on Channel 9, and most recently on Selling Houses Australia (S16 e3), as well as in Hi-Pages advertisements.
Together, they oversee the Customea workshop and showroom situated in Alexandria. Their goal is to assist clients in creating distinctive and aesthetically pleasing spaces within their homes.
