Customea (a play on words - Custom & IKEA) was founded in 2020 by Mathieu, a seasoned cabinet maker and licensed renovator with over ten years of experience, and his partner Suzanna, who brings a wealth of experience in corporate management and hospitality, as well as a passion for design.

Mathieu, an expert in flatpack cabinetry assembly and customisation, has been featured on notable TV programs such as "Aussie Property Flippers" on Channel 7, "The Today Show" on Channel 9, and most recently in Selling Houses Australia (S16 e3), as well as in Hi-Pages adverts. 

Together, they operate the Customea workshop and showroom in Alexandria, with the goal of helping people create beautiful & unique spaces in their homes.
